We understand that childcare needs can sometimes arise unexpectedly. While we always aim to be as helpful as possible, short-notice bookings must follow a clear process to ensure children’s safety and appropriate staffing levels.

How to Request an Emergency Booking
If you require care at short notice, please use one of the following options:
Please note that emails sent late in the evening or overnight are not monitored in real time, and we cannot guarantee an immediate response to same-day requests.
If Your Emergency Booking Is AcceptedIf we are able to offer a space, the following steps must be completed immediately:
Once payment has been received, an updated booking confirmation and invoice will be issued.
Important Things to Be Aware Of
Standard Booking Cut-Off
- Online bookings close at 5.30pm on the working day before the session.
- This allows us to confirm staffing, meet safeguarding requirements, and ensure correct adult-to-child ratios.
Emergency Bookings (After the Cut-Off)
- Booking requests received after the cut-off are treated as emergency bookings.
- Emergency bookings are not guaranteed and can only be accommodated subject to staff availability.
- These bookings are managed manually by our team.
How to Request an Emergency Booking
If you require care at short notice, please use one of the following options:
- Call Breakfast Club from 7.30am and speak to the Club Manager, who can check whether space is available for that day, or
- Call Head Office on 07508 846582 and leave a voicemail. Messages are checked during office hours and returned as soon as possible.

If Your Emergency Booking Is AcceptedIf we are able to offer a space, the following steps must be completed immediately:
- Payment must be made straight away to secure the booking. Places cannot be held without payment.
- Parents must inform the school directly of the change in collection arrangements so the school is aware that their child will be attending PLAYtarium.
Once payment has been received, an updated booking confirmation and invoice will be issued.
Important Things to Be Aware Of
- Emergency bookings are confirmed only once you receive direct confirmation from us.
- To avoid uncertainty, we strongly recommend booking sessions in advance wherever possible, even if you think you may not need them.
