Every child must be registered on our online booking system before they can attend. A non-refundable annual family membership fee is required in order for parents and children to use PLAYtarium, which is automatically charged with your first booking.
Parents must ensure that they provide all the necessary information about their child and that it is kept up-to-date. This ensures that PLAYtarium is able to care for your children, keep them safe and meet Ofsted requirements.
Once registered, your membership with PLAYtarium will allow you to make bookings at our Out of School Clubs.

Payment Methods
Credit & Debit Card
Credit and Debit card payments are processed securely using Stripe - an online payment processing service.
Our booking system does not store your card information so it will need to be completed each time you check out.

Bank Transfers
This payment option is available to parents making a contract booking.
Payments can take up to 5 working days to process and be added to your PLAYtarium account. Payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed. Unpaid bookings will be cancelled and your place forfeited.
Invoices are issued a month in advance and must be paid in full to secure your child's place.
Payment details are sent in the 'Booking Confirmation' email which is automatically sent out by our online booking system.

If you’re a working parent or carer, you can get a £2 top-up for every £8 that you pay towards childcare.
Our booking system allows you to pay with your Tax-Free Childcare account directly at the checkout! When checking out your booking, you can connect your TFC account, see how much you have available and complete your booking! No need to transfer later.

You will need to make a transfer from your Childcare Voucher account to PLAYtarium. Please ensure the correct funds have been sent. Payments can take between 5-10 working days to process and be added to your PLAYtarium account. Vouchers must be transferred immediately after you have submitted your booking. If payment has not been received after 10 working days, we will contact you to pay via another payment method. Unpaid bookings will be cancelled, your sessions lost and no new bookings will be accepted.

How can I use Childcare Vouchers to pay for my sessions?
Yes! The way it works is you send your childcare vouchers across to PLAYtarium, then once they have processed they are added as credit on your PLAYtarium account, with which you can then use to make a booking.
How long does it take for my Childcare Vouchers to be added onto my PLAYtarium account?
It can take up to 10 working days from when you send a payment from your voucher company for it to process and clear into our bank. We recommend planning ahead of bookings by crediting your account monthly to ensure you have enough credit to cover your booking. If you do not have enough to cover your booking, you can pay for the remainder at the checkout with your card.
Alternatively you can make a partial booking while waiting for more vouchers to process, however you run the risk of sessions becoming fully booked during this time.
What if I pay too much and have credit that I don’t need?
When you stop using PLAYtarium, or if you have a drastic reduction in the amount of bookings you need, you are able to contact your childcare voucher provider and obtain their refund details. We can then send the amount to be refunded from your account back to the childcare voucher provider, who will then follow their companies procedures in refunding you - please note this varies from each childcare voucher provider and some may not issue refunds. Please check with them directly for full details.
